Stevenson University has received notification from the lenders and guarantee agencies on our preferred lender list that effective immediately they will no longer waive the Federal Stafford and PLUS Loan origination and default fees. The origination fee is 1% for Stafford and 3% for PLUS and the default fee is 1% for both. The 2% Stafford fees and the 4% PLUS fees will be deducted from the total loan amount you request.
